The tags
How does a tag work?
There's an NFC chip inside, the same kind used for contactless payments. A customer holds their phone near it and your review page opens. No app, no searching for your business.
Which phones work?
iPhone XS and newer, and nearly all Android phones made in the last few years. Older iPhones can use the NFC reader in Control Centre, and Pro gives you QR codes as a backup.
How much are they?
Counter stands are £40, 2 for £60 or 3 for £80. Table discs are £25 each. UK delivery is free.
What's in the kits?
Starter (£90): 1 counter stand and 2 table discs. Growth (£209): 2 stands, 4 discs and 3 months of Pro. Full house (£379): 3 stands, 10 discs and 3 months of Pro. Or build your own.
Do the tags need charging or Wi-Fi?
No. Tags have no battery and don't need Wi-Fi. The customer's phone does the work.
Setting up
How do I set up a tag?
Tap it with your own phone, create a free account and pick your business from Google. It takes about a minute.
Can I change where a tag goes later?
Yes. Each tag links to your Tapnelo account, so you can change your Google link or reward at any time without touching the tag.
I have more than one location.
Add each location to the same account and link tags to whichever one they sit in. You switch between them in the dashboard.
Software and Pro
What do I get for free?
The star rating screen, happy customers sent to Google, reward codes for customers, and this week's numbers. Free stays free.
What does Pro add?
Your private feedback inbox, your full customer list with export, offers by email, receipt and table QR codes, 12-week trends, and no Tapnelo branding. It's £49 a month.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Pro comes with a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends.
What is the 3-month Pro deal?
Add it when you buy tags: 3 months of Pro for £49 instead of £147, so you save £98. Your 3 months start when you activate Pro in your dashboard. After that it's £49 a month if you keep it, and you can cancel any time.
What happens if I stop paying for Pro?
Your tags keep working and you keep every free feature. Pro features lock again and nothing is deleted.
Can I put a review QR on my receipts?
Yes, with Pro. You get a receipt QR code with its own link, so you can see how many reviews your receipts bring in.
Orders and delivery
How much is delivery?
Free to anywhere in the UK. We email you a tracking number when your order leaves us.
Can I return them?
Yes. Send unused tags back within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. Faulty tags are replaced free.
How do I pay?
By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe. We never see your card details.
